Description

- 2 lobster tails, split lengthwise
- 1/2 lb large sea scallops
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Lobster and Scallops
- Split the lobster tails lengthwise to expose the meat.
- Pat the scallops dry and season both lobster and scallops with salt and black pepper.
- Cook the Lobster Tails
- Heat 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the lobster tails flesh side down and cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly golden.
- Flip the lobster, add 1 tbsp garlic, and spoon melted butter over the meat for another 2-3 minutes until opaque and tender.
- Set aside.
- Sear the Scallops
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and the remaining butter.
- Sear the scallops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Add Garlic Butter
- Stir in the remaining minced garlic and lemon juice, letting it cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Spoon the garlic butter over the lobster and scallops.
- Serve
- Plate the lobster and scallops, garnish with parsley, and serve with a lemon wedge.
